Bhubaneswar: Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian reviewed the ongoing development works at the SCB Medical College & Hospital here on Monday.
On the direction of CM Naveen Patnaik, Pandian visited the State’s premier health institute to take a review. The State Government has decided to transform SCB MCH into an AIIMS Plus institution with world class facilities.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had approved the redevelopment plan which includes construction of new medical blocks, high rise residential apartments for doctors, staffs and nurses, new hostel accommodation for students, etc. A new playground for SCBMCH is also proposed in the redevelopment plan.
In order to take stock of progress of various works related to the transformation of the SCB MCH, the 5T Secretary has visited the hospital today and held discussed with concerned officers about the project.
The 5T Secretary has stressed on the timely completion of the project with high quality works, as per reports.
