Balipatna: Police today seized 40 cartons of beef from the house of one, Firoz Khan aliad Japani, at Sahebnagar Basti under Balipatana PS limits.
According to sources, Firoz was transporting the beef from his house when scores of locals reached the spot and found out about the illegal trade.
They immediately informed the police who reached the village and buried it.
