Amit Shah shares victory mantra with party workers ahead of twin polls in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: After addressing a huge public meeting in Sonepur of Western Odisha, Union Home Minister and BJP Stalwart Amit Shah provides party workers and senior leaders with the mantra for victory in the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha.

A crucial meeting involving the key BJP activists of 13 parliamentary constituencies was held for a long time. Addressing the party workers and leaders, he guided them to ensure victory in the simultaneous general elections.

He said that the BJP would form the government and asked all to keep their differences aside and work together. “Odisha needs to have a healthy, young and clear Odia-speaking Chief Minister,” said Shah.

On Thursday, Union Minister Amit Shah kick-started BJP’s electioneering in Odisha by addressing a public meeting in Sonepur and targeted the ruling party to infuse a new spirit among the party workers.

After reaching Bhubaneswar, Shah convened the party meeting at a resort in Bhubaneswar and discussed strategies for winning the ensuing general elections. Senior party leaders including MPs and MLA candidates from 13 parliamentary constituencies were present in the meeting. MP candidates from Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Puri, Aska and Brahmapur were present in this meeting.

Shah emphasized that party candidates should go door to door and meet common people. Stating that the central leadership will provide all possible cooperation to form the BJP government in Odisha, Shah signalled that a new strategy would be adopted if necessary.

According to party sources, Shah emphasised winning 21 Lok Sabha seats and getting a majority vote to form the government in Odisha.

Shah said that the BJD’s regime is about to end and now it’s time for the BJP to form government in Odisha. “The state government is looting the funds of the central government, so everyone should come together and take a decision to realize Modiji’s dream,” Shah suggested.

After the meeting, BJP Odisha state unit president Manmohan Samal said discussions were held on three key topics including the aim to form government in the state and work hard towards making Modi the Prime Minister of India for the third time.

Samal said, “Shah has advised the party workers and leaders to work confidently for the ensuing elections.”

BJP in-charge Sunil Bansal, BJP election in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, state unit president Manmohan Samal, former president Samir Mohanty, Prithviraj Harichandan, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Shadangi, MLA Mohan Majhi, Suryabanshi Suraj, Prabhati Parida were prominently present in the meeting.
