16.98% Growth Recorded In Outward Parcel At Bhubaneswar Rly Station In February

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar railway station has carried 1358.4 tonnes of outward parcel in the month of February 2021 which is 197.2 tonne more than the outward parcel carried in February, 2020 registering a growth of 16.98%.

In February, 2020; Bhubaneswar Station had carried 1161.2 tonne of outward parcel.

Similarly, from the earning front in the month of February, 2021; Bhubaneswar Station has registered agrowth of 7.33% more than the parcel carried in February, 2020. This revenue isfrom exclusive Bhubaneswar Originating revenue. The number of parcel vans has also increased this year.

In February, 2021, five Parcel Special Trains were handled by Bhubaneswar Station.

 It is mentioned here that, Bhubaneswar Railway Station handles major share of perishable items like fish, egg, and bettle leaves towards different destinations of the country.
