Bhubaneswar: The dead body of a woman has been recovered from Bindusagar lake near Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The identity of the deceased woman was not known immediately.
Sources said some locals spotted the dead body of the woman lying near Bindu Sagar this morning. On intimation, Lingaraj police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
Police have started an investigation to ascertain whether the woman committed suicide or was killed and dumped in the lake.
