The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clinched their spot in the IPL 2025 final with a commanding win over the Punjab Kings on Thursday, triggering a wave of celebration among fans—and an emotional moment between Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma.

After the victory, Kohli was seen gesturing “one more” from the field, indicating RCB is just one win away from their long-awaited maiden IPL title. Anushka, watching from the stands, was captured applauding the moment, which quickly went viral online.

Electing to bowl first, RCB’s bowlers delivered a ruthless performance, reducing Punjab to 101 all out in just 14.1 overs. Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma picked up three wickets each, while RCB’s fielders held their nerve to maintain pressure in the powerplay.

With the bat, Phil Salt anchored the chase, remaining unbeaten with a stunning 56 off 27 deliveries, sealing victory by eight wickets with ten overs to spare.

Captain Rajat Patidar’s Post-Match Comments
RCB skipper Rajat Patidar praised the clinical execution, saying:

“We were very clear in our bowling plans. Fast bowlers used the surface well, and Suyash chipped in brilliantly. Salt is giving us dream starts every match—it’s a treat to watch.”

Patidar downplayed any concerns over rest periods, adding,

“One day of non-practice won’t harm you. The hard work is already done.”

RCB will now face the final challenge on June 3 in Ahmedabad, as they aim to lift their first-ever IPL trophy. With Virat Kohli’s passionate leadership and star players in top form, the anticipation for the final showdown is higher than ever.
