Action star Vidyut Jammwal is set to make his highly anticipated Hollywood debut in Paramount Pictures’ live-action adaptation of the iconic video game franchise, Street Fighter.
To mark the milestone, Paramount Pictures India hosted a grand promotional event in Mumbai, where a special featurette was unveiled highlighting Jammwal in his role as the legendary character Dhalsim.
Known for his mastery of Indian martial arts, including Kalaripayattu, Jammwal brings his action expertise to the beloved Yoga Master character from the gaming series.
The unveiling event offered fans an exciting preview of Jammwal’s transformation and his involvement in the high-octane production. Street Fighter will be released in Indian theatres on Oct 16, 2026, featuring multilingual dubs in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu to cater to a wide audience.
This Hollywood debut marks a significant step forward for the actor, bringing an established Indian action performer into a major international franchise adaptation.
