Jharsuguda: Police have arrested two persons on theft charges in Jharsuguda district on Wednesday. The arrestees have been identified as Saudagar Bag and Binod Kishan.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after one Santanu Kumar Padhi lodged a complaint regarding the theft of batteries from the hyva truck.
Acting on the complaint, police registered a case no (36/22) and arrested the accused persons in this connection. The cops also recovered two stolen Exide 12 volts batteries from them.
Further investigation is underway in this regard, police said.
