Two persons reportedly died during a religious congregation of the Nigamananda sect at Balighai in Odisha’s Puri town on Saturday.
The two devotees were rushed to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital after they developed certain health complications. However, the duo was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
As per sources, the deceased devotees hail from Cuttack and Medinpore. It is suspected that the duo died of cardiac arrest. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
