The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadlines for stakeholders to submit comments and counter-comments on the draft manual for assessing property ratings under the Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024.
The move comes in response to multiple requests for additional time to evaluate the proposed framework.
Initially, the deadlines were set for June 2, 2025 (comments) and June 9, 2025 (counter-comments). With the extension, stakeholders now have until June 9, 2025, to submit comments and June 16, 2025, to provide counter-comments. This extension aims to facilitate more comprehensive feedback and improve digital connectivity standards across India.
Stakeholders can send their input electronically to ja2-qos1@trai.gov.in, with a copy to adv-qos1@trai.gov.in. For further clarification, they may reach out to Shri Tejpal Singh, Advisor (QoS-I), TRAI, at +91-11-20907759.
TRAI’s initiative seeks to establish transparent benchmarks for digital connectivity, ensuring buildings and properties nationwide meet optimal digital infrastructure standards.
