Contributing to public health and nurturing a healthier community, TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) organized a Mega Health Camp at Majhiguda Village in the Boipariguda Block of Koraput District.
Through this initiative, the company is ensuring access to healthcare services for remote and underserved communities.
The health camp provided a wide range of specialized healthcare services, including eye and dental check-ups, paediatric care, gynaecological consultations, and general health examinations. A team of expert healthcare professionals addressed specific medical concerns, offering consultations, treatments, and Medicines. Approximately 800 individuals, predominantly elderly people, children, and women, benefited from this health Camp.
TPSODL already operates Mobile Health Dispensaries (MHDs) in the remote areas of Malkangiri and Koraput districts. These dispensaries offer comprehensive healthcare services, including free consultations, treatments, and distribution of essential medicines to those in need. With the addition of this Mega Health Camp, which featured specialized treatments, TPSODL has further Strengthened its Obligation to provide quality healthcare to tribal communities, thereby promoting a healthier and more equitable society.

The camp was inaugurated by Mr Manmath Nath Mishra, Circle head, Jeypore in the presence of Mr Varun Choudhury, Executive Engineer, Jeypore Electrical Division, and Mr Randhir Kumar, Head of CSR at TPSODL. This health camp exemplifies the organization’s broader mission to bridge healthcare gaps and contribute to a healthier, and empowered society.
