Temperature Likely To Dip By 3-5 Degree Celsius Across Odisha: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Monday informed that dry weather to prevail in most of the places from Jan 26 and the temperature is likely to dip by 3-5 degree Celsius across Odisha.

“No large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during next two days and gradual fall by 3 to 5 degree Celsius thereafter over the districts of Odisha,” a weather bulletin stated today.

Meanwhile, the rain is in the forecast for several districts today and tomorrow.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha between today and tomorrow morning.

The MeT issued dense fog alert for some places in Odisha for next 3 days.

Jan 25: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Angul, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar.

Jan 26: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Khordha and Cuttack.

Jan 27: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati and Ganjam.
