Malkangiri: The senior clerk of Malkangiri’s Kalimela Tehsil office, Lakhman Raut, has been accused of misbehaving with a woman colleague.
According to reports, the junior female clerk has lodged a written complaint with the Kalimela police station alleging misconduct by Section Officer Lakhman Raut.
As per complaint, the woman was working alone in the office when the accused senior official misbehaved with her.
Based on the plaint, a case has been registered by Kalimela police under Section 191/21 of Sections 376, 354B, and Atrocities Act, informed Kalimela PS IIC Jagadish Bara. He added that the investigation is underway in this regard.
