Remotely Operated IAF Aircraft Crashes Near Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, Probe Ordered

Jaipur:  An unmanned aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Jajia village near Jaisalmer in Rajasthan on Thursday. According to the Air Force officials, no one was harmed in the incident.

In its social media post, the Indian Air Force said, “One Remotely Piloted Aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident near Jaisalmer on Thursday during a routine training sortie. No damage to any personnel or property has been reported. A Court of Inquiry has been constituted to find out the cause of the accident.”

The remotely operated aircraft crashed 30 km from Jaisalmer near Rozaniyon Ki Dhani at around 10 in the morning. Fortunately, there is no news of any loss in the accident.

The Air Force officials and the district administration along with the fire brigade rushed to the spot as soon as they got informed about the accident. The Air Force officials are investigating the causes of the crash.
