Physical Teaching Classes For Students Of Class I-VII Resumes In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: After a gap of more than one and a half years, physical classes for the students of standard I-VII resumed in Odisha on Monday.

Earlier, the government allowed offline classes for Class VI and VII from November 15 last year. However, it was dropped from January 7 due to the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Schools were reopened again for Class I to VII from February 14. However, the state government asked the students to attend classes from February 28 in view of the panchayat elections.

According to the schedule prepared by the School & Mass Education department, the classes were started at 10 am and will be continued till 1 pm.

On the other hand, in the first week of class teaching, a rapport building exercise will carry out that will include a number of activities including open discussions for sharing good memories during the Covid pandemic, hobbies, word puzzles, story-telling, painting, clay modelling, crafts, and other co-curricular activities to refamiliarise students.
