Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the schedule of the computer-based preliminary examination to be conducted for the recruitment of regular teachers in government secondary schools in the State.
A total of 7540 posts of regular teachers will be filled up under the recruitment drive. A whopping 72585 teaching aspirants have applied for the posts.
“It is for information of all concerned that the Preliminary Examination for the post of Regular Teacher-2022 shall be conducted across the State from 10.03.2023 to 13.03.2023 through Computer Based Recruitment Test in 3 batches,” the OSSC said.
“Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission Letter in the link provided in the Home page (What’s New) of the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from 02.03.2023 onwards by using their User Id & Password to appear the examination in the venue on the date & time mentioned therein,” the OSSC said.
The commission has asked PwD candidates having disability not less than 40% of permanent nature to apply for taking assistance of a scribe in the prescribed format along with the required documents by 03.03.2023.
“No other mode of communication will be entertained in this regard. Any application/request to avail scribe facility received after the said date will not be considered. Under no circumstances a PWD candidate shall be allowed to use Scribe in the examination without taking prior permission from the Commission,” the commission added.
The preliminary examination comprises 100 questions carrying one mark each. The duration of the examination is 2 hours and there will be negative marking @ 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
