Bhubaneswar: Odisha has registered 78.6 per cent voting in the third phase of the polling for the three-tier panchayat elections.
According to the release, Sonepur district registered the highest 87.44 per cent voter turnout followed by Nabarangpur (86.33), Koraput (84.78).
On the other hand, Ganjam district recorded the lowest turnout with 66.75 per cent.
The state during the second phase of polling had registered a voter turnout of 78.3 per cent.
The third phase polls were held at 18,945 booths in 1382 panchayats in 63 blocks across 29 districts across the State.
