Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday detected multiple plots in the name of Padmanav Hota, a Junior Mining Officer(JMO) in Keonjhar. The raids were carried out based on the allegations that Hota amassed properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
As per Vigilance officials, three multi-storeyed buildings, including one four-storeyed building built on 5800 sqft of land in Bhubaneswar has been detected.
Similarly, 14 plots, one farmhouse on 5 acres of land have also been detected during the searches on the properties linked to Hota.
Assets unearthed in the name of Hota and his family members;
- One Four-storeyed building with an area of 5800 Sqft. located at Karodakanta, Bhubaneswar.
- One Double-storeyed building with an area of 10000 Sqft. located at Jagannathpur, Keonjhar.
- One building at located at Jamadeipur, Jajpur.
- One Farmhouse spread over 5 acres of land located at Madanpur under Ghasipura Tahasil, Dist-Keonjhar.
- 14 plots of which 4 in prime areas of Bhubaneswar & Cuttack and 10 in Danagadi, Jajpur
- The measurement and valuation of the above buildings/plots/farmhouse are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.
