Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday announced a hike in the monthly stipend of the house surgeons of the state-run medical colleges.
The hike will be effective immediately.
The last hike came into effect from January 1, 2021. The current enhancement aims at the implementation of a dynamic stipend in favour of house surgeons at 50% of the current remuneration paid to assistant surgeons under OMHS cadre on their entry into the government service.
