In a spiritually uplifting visit, Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, accompanied by his wife, the esteemed Dr. Jayashree Kambhampati, offered prayers at the sacred Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on Saturday.
Upon arrival, the Governor and his wife were warmly welcomed by SJTA Chief Administrator Arabind Kumar Padhee and Puri District Collector Dibyajyoti Parida.
The couple had a divine darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra, seeking blessings for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Odisha and the well-being of its people.
Following the darshan, Dr Kambhampati explored various sections of the temple complex. The SJTA Chief Administrator and District Collector briefed him on temple administration, ongoing management initiatives, and the wide range of facilities provided for devotees.
The visit highlights the deep cultural and spiritual connection between Odisha’s highest constitutional authority and the state’s most revered shrine.
