Odisha voter enumeration 2026

In a remarkable display of administrative efficiency, Odisha has distributed voter enumeration forms to a record 98.65% of its electorate as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list.

The state is now racing ahead with digitisation to ensure the electoral roll is accurate, updated, and error-free ahead of the June 28, 2026 deadline.

Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are going door-to-door to collect forms and upload them online in real-time. With distribution nearly complete, the focus has shifted to rapid digitisation, which has already covered over 28.57% of the total forms.

Key Highlights:

  • Total Forms Distributed: 3,29,64,501 (98.65% of voters)
  • Forms Digitised: 95,41,924 (28.57%)
  • Target: Complete distribution, collection, and digitisation before 28 June 2026

Voters who have not yet submitted their forms are urged to contact their BLO immediately. Those preferring digital convenience can download the form from the Election Commission of India website and submit it online. For any assistance, the free helpline 1950 is available round the clock.

The Chief Electoral Officer’s office has launched a massive awareness campaign across electronic, print, radio, and cinema halls to ensure maximum participation. Officials have warned that failure to submit forms within the stipulated time may lead to scrutiny and possible deletion of names from the voter list as per rules.

This people-centric exercise aims to strengthen democracy by making the voter list clean, accurate, and inclusive.

The Chief Electoral Officer has appealed to all eligible voters to actively participate and extend full cooperation to BLOs working in the field.
