New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the next UGC NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship & eligibility for Assistant Professor from May 2 – 17 May.
Union Minister of Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal on Tuesday released the dates for University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) exam for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor. As per the announcement, the National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET 2021 exam on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 & 17 May 2021.
Taking to his official Twitter account today, the minister said, “National Testing Agency will conduct next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship & eligibility for Assistant Professor on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 & 17 May 2021.”

According to the notice, the test will be conducted in the Computer Based Test mode only and comprise two papers, both in Multiple Choice Question format. While Paper I will include 50 MCQs, carrying 100 marks, paper II will carry 200 marks, comprising 100 questions.
The candidates must note that the online application process will go on for a period of one month, starting from February 2 till March 2. The fees for the same can be paid till March 3, 2021.
