Bhubaneswar: A NITI Aayog team on Sunday morning went on to inspect various development and sanitation activities being carried out in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar.
Headed by NITI Ayog’s special secretary, K. Rajeswara Rao the team along with BMC officials visited several slums in the city to take stock of the provisions of electricity, water supply, and other basic facilities in the areas.
The inspection team also visited various Micro Composting Centres (MCCs) present in the city and inspected the process of compost made from organic wastes.
The team also comprised of BMC Commissioner Sanjay Singh; Director of Municipal Administration, Sangramjit Nayak; Additional Secretary, Kalyan Kumar Rath, and other officials.
