Pragati Biwal, daughter of key accused Mangilal Biwal, vanished from her medical college in Dausa just as the CBI tightened its grip on the NEET paper leak case.
Investigators revealed that Pragati submitted a leave application and left campus soon after her father and uncle faced arrest. She has not attended classes for two days, sparking speculation about her sudden disappearance.
The CBI now examines the Biwal family’s extraordinary concentration of medical admissions. Pragati studies in Dausa, her brother Vikas in Sawai Madhopur, cousin Saniya in Jaipur, cousin Palak in Mumbai, and Gunjan in Banaras. Authorities suspect this pattern may indicate a larger education mafia exploiting the NEET system.
Raids at the Biwal family’s Jaipur properties uncovered luxury vehicles and documents linked to the scandal. Investigators questioned female family members during searches, while male relatives remained absent.
The probe has already spread beyond Rajasthan, with arrests in Maharashtra. Seven people face charges, and five, including Mangilal and Dinesh Biwal, remain in CBI custody. Meanwhile, Dinesh’s son Rishi, a NEET aspirant, is absconding.
