Rayagada /Sambalpur: Amid the second wave Covid-19 scare in the State, Micro Containment Zones have been declared in parts of Sambalpur district and in Muniguda of Rayagada district.
The Rayagada district administration has declared several areas under Muniguda block as micro-containment zones for 14 days.
As per reports, the decision was taken in order to break the chain of Coronavirus spread. The areas under micro-containment zones including Sahu Colony, Aravind School premises, Sairam Colony, and some parts of Ambadola village.
Similarly, Dangapal village under Jujumura block in Sambalpur district has been declared as a micro-containment zone by the Sambalpur Collector Subham Saxena.
Meanwhile, VSS Colony, Mirdhapada, Chamarpada, Harijanpada, and Durga mandap under Jujumura gram panchayat have been declared as buffer zone.
However, all the essential services will be allowed in the micro containment zone.
