A shocking incident unfolded at No. 3 Colony under Parjang police station limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district, where a man allegedly beat his wife to death following a family dispute.
According to preliminary reports, the accused, identified as Mithun Nayak, assaulted his wife repeatedly, leading to her death. Later, Mithun reportedly died by suicide by hanging himself in front of his house.
Police have begun an investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the alleged murder and subsequent suicide. Officials said the probe will focus on the nature of the domestic dispute and the sequence of events preceding the tragedy.
