Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has issued a sharp response to American singer Mary Millben, rejecting her allegations that his outfit is funded by US-based donors opposed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Taking to social media platform X, Dipke questioned foreign intervention in India’s domestic political landscape and challenged the narrative surrounding external influence.
Dipke Rejects Allegations of External Interference
Questioning the right of foreign nationals to comment on internal democratic movements, Dipke stated that Indian citizens possess full capability to navigate their own political processes:
”Why is Modi seeking the support of Americans to discredit his own countrymen? Who gave foreign nationals the right to interfere in India’s internal affairs? We are more than capable of dealing with our own issues. We don’t need outsiders interfering in our country’s affairs.”
The founder’s remarks follow a post by Millben calling on Indian youth to organize counter-protests against the CJP, alleging a global pattern of targeting conservative leaders through foreign-educated activists and international funding.
Controversy Around Foreign Funding Allegations
The exchange marks the latest escalation in a series of funding accusations aimed at the CJP. Previously, scrutinies regarding Dipke’s educational history at Boston University were clarified as being financed through standard academic scholarships and educational loans.
Dipke has maintained that the CJP functions as an independent, youth-driven pressure group, rejecting political alignment with traditional coalitions while continuing to push for systemic political reforms.
