Maharashtra: As many as six workers were burnt alive as a massive fire broke out inside a glove manufacturing factory at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar in Maharashtra late on Saturday night.
As per reports, the fire broke out in the factory at night while the workers were sleeping inside it. Around 10-15 people were trapped inside the building at the time of mishap.
Fire tenders on intimation reached immediately to the spot and initiated a rescue operation to take out the individuals trapped inside the factory. The fire was brought under control in the morning.
In the incident, six workers were burnt alive while several others sustained burn injuries. They have been admitted in the hospital for treatment.
