Bhubaneswar: Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian and Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) Vice-Chairman Sanjay Kumar Singh on Sunday reviewed the progress of work for the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) at Baramunda in Bhubaneswar.

As per the instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the development of the bus terminal under the 5T initiative is underway to facilitate the passengers a convenient and hassle-free experience.
After reviewing the ongoing works, the 5T Secretary directed officials concerned to complete the ISBT work by next March 2023.
ISBT Baramunda project is being developed over 11.48 acres of land at a cost of Rs 180 crore. It will have facilities for the convenience of the passengers, like parking ATM, food court, shop restaurant, commercial spaces etc.
On the direction of the Chief Minister, 5T Secretary VK Pandian visited Baramunda along with BDA Vice-Chairman Sanjay Kumar Singh to review the progress of ISBT and bus depot works.
The Baramunda ISBT is the busiest bus terminal in the State. Every day, hundreds of buses ply from here to different parts of the State.
