I’m overwhelmed with audience response: Gaurav Chopra on love and appreciation for his role in Gadar 2

Gaurav Chopra is the ‘man of the moment’ at present and for all the right reasons. He is currently in the best phase of his professional career. Well, that’s why whatever he tries works wonders for him. After the success of ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Rana Naidu’, fans had high expectations from their ‘Prince’ and he has really packed a punch and performed with good effect. Gadar 2 is a blockbuster with tremendous collections at the box office and one thing that is moving in parallel direction with the box office numbers is the appreciation and love he is getting for his role of Lt Col Devendra Rawat.

Wherever there is good and strong buzz about Gadar 2 and performance on every social media platform, Gaurav Chopra’s name pops up everywhere. Reacting to the love and appreciation he has received for the film, he said,

“Well, it is a golden phase for me professionally. God is kind and I am happy that my hard work and decision making ability is paying off. After the Covid-19 lockdown, I have tried to do different and varied roles. I decided and that’s why the audience got to see me in Bachchan Pandey and Rana Naidu.Both the characters were very different from each other and I was very humbled when the character of Prince in Rana Naidu won me two big awards as well. So naturally, not just the audience, even myself had high expectations from Gadar 2 and finally, it’s all happening together.”

He adds, “As an artiste, I couldn’t have expected more. I am overwhelmed with the audience response, it is a hat-trick of successful projects for me and what makes me happy is that they all interact with each other. Very different. From my behavior as an army officer to the seriousness I present on screen, I have received a lot of praise. A lot of research and hard work has gone behind all this and I am glad that finally, this All paving the way for success. The success of Gadar 2 and the love and appreciation that I have received for my character in Gadar 2 motivates me to take up even better and tougher roles.”

He ended by saying, “I like to challenge myself as it brings out the best in me.
