The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the admission and re-registration deadline for the July 2026 academic session till July 31.
The move provides additional time for fresh applicants and existing students to enrol in a wide range of programmes.
Admissions are open across undergraduate, postgraduate, PG diploma, and certificate courses. Special concessions have been announced for SC/ST candidates, with a 50% fee waiver for general UG programmes such as Arts, Science, and Commerce. However, students already availing benefits from other sources will not be eligible for this waiver.
