Deogarh: Police recovered a human skeleton inside the forest area in Kaunsibahal village in Deogarh district on Monday.
As per reports, the skeleton was first noticed by some locals who then informed the police about this. On intimation, a team of cops led by SDPO Soumya Ranjan Mallick along with a scientific team reached the spot and launched an investigation.
After investigation, it was found that was the skeleton of Santosh Sabar, son of Lochan Sabar of Saida village under Barkote police station. His family members recognised him by the cloth attached to the skeleton.
It is worth mentioning that, Santosh was living with Bimbadhar Luhura, his maternal grandfather in Kansibahal village and was engaged in farming in that village. He suddenly went missing from last June.
But there was no complaint at the police station from the family members about his missing. Today, after the skeleton was seized from the forest, the police started an investigation.
