A shocking murder rocked Bhubaneswar’s Airfield area as a man allegedly killed his wife by slitting her throat inside their home at Swasti Nagar Lane-4.
The victim, identified as Priyambada Sadangi, was found dead late Tuesday night.
Police detained her husband, Debaraj Sadangi, who reportedly committed the crime before attempting to flee. Officers from Airfield Police Station reached the scene immediately after receiving information and began an investigation. A scientific team collected samples and evidence from the spot to determine the sequence of events.
The motive behind the murder remains unclear. Investigators are questioning the accused to uncover what led to the brutal act. Locals described the incident as horrifying, saying the couple had lived in the area for several years without any known disputes.
