A tragic incident has shocked the Rabupura area of Greater Noida after five members of a single family—a husband, wife, and their three young children—were found dead under suspicious circumstances late Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as 37-year-old Mahesh, his 35-year-old wife Lalita, and their three children: Laddoo (11), Mischi (7), and Sakshat (3).
According to preliminary investigation, the family consumed tea and noodles before retiring for the night, after which all five reportedly lost consciousness and subsequently passed away.
Police suspect food poisoning as a primary cause, though investigators have not ruled out potential foul play. Senior police officials alongside teams from the Food Safety Department arrived at the scene to collect food samples for detailed chemical analysis.
All five bodies have been dispatched for post-mortem examinations, and authorities confirmed that a conclusion regarding the cause of death will be drawn once forensic reports are finalised.
