Netflix has unveiled the teaser for its upcoming period series Akka, starring Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte.

Set in the 1980s, Akka takes place in Pernuru—a fictional kingdom built, governed, and protected across generations by women who answer to no outside authority.
The series introduces Keerthy Suresh as Bhavani and Radhika Apte as Rudra. While specific plot details remain closely guarded, the teaser highlights a high-stakes world defined by deep-rooted traditions, shifting power dynamics, and simmering rivalries.
