Puri: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today offered prayer at the Jagannath Temple in pilgrim town of Puri.
Accompanied by family members, Sawant visited the temple today morning and expressed his pleasure having the holy darshan of deities after long years.
He said that he prayed to Lord Jagannath for economic growth in Goa and the people of his state. He also lauded the ongoing developmental projects at Srimandir.
Speaking to media persons, Sawant praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the upcoming consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lala at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
He said that the Sanatani people are quite happy with Narendra Modi, who is working for the development of religious sites including Kashi Viswanath, Mahakaleswar Temple in Ujjain and the Jagannath Temple in Puri.
