Koraput: As many as five persons were critically injured after a pick-up van they were travelling in overturned near Jalaput Bridge under Machakund police station limits in Koraput district on Sunday.
According to sources, five workers hailing from Thuba village were en route to Andhra Pradesh to bring a consignment of Jackfruits when they met with the mishap.
The driver of the vehicle lost control following which the van turned turtle of the road injuring the workers critically.
Soon, all the injured workers were rescued and admitted to Lamtaput Community Health Center for treatment, sources added.
