Angul: One of two undertrial prisoners, who escaped from Pallahara Sub-Jail in Angul district on Tuesday, was arrested today.
The accused have been identified as Nentu Naik of Odasha.
According to reports, the prisioner was nabbed by police near Khamar. The other accused identified as Basant Mahakul is still at large.
It is pertinent to mention that taking advantage of the rain on Monday night, the duo had jumped off the boundary wall and escaped.
After receiving a complaint in this regard, Pallahara Police had started conducting raids at various places to nab them.
