New Delhi: External Affairs Minister, Dr S Jaishankar, met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Kuala Lumpur today.
In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar stated that Prime Minister Ibrahim’s vision for stronger India-Malaysia ties, both in traditional and new-age areas, would help create a more ambitious agenda for the relationship. He also mentioned that he gained valuable insights from the Malaysian Prime Minister’s guidance on regional developments.
Furthermore, Dr Jaishankar held a meeting with his Malaysian counterpart, Mohamad Haji Hasan, where they exchanged views on enhancing collaboration in political, economic, defence, digital, startup, consular, and P2P linkages.
Both Ministers also shared perspectives on the region, Indo-Pacific, West Asia, and Ukraine. Lastly, Dr Jaishankar interacted with the Indian community in Kuala Lumpur.
