Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday arrested seven Naxalites in connection with the Dantewada Naxal attack in which 10 DRG jawans and a driver lost their lives, reported news agency ANI.

According to the report, of the seven arrested, three minors have been sent to a juvenile home and four other accused have been sent to judicial remand.
On August 26, Naxalites blew up a police bus in Aranpur, Dantewada by planting an IED on the ground, in which 10 Chhattisgarh police personnel and a bus driver were martyred.
On the basis of circumstantial evidence obtained from the spot and information obtained during interrogation seven Naxalites involved in the incident were arrested.
The arrested Naxalites were active as militia members of Malangir Area Committee of Darbha Division of banned CPI Maoist organization. Three minors were also found involved in the said incident and were sent to juvenile home on remand.
