Cuttack: Vigilance sleuths conducted raids at the house of assistant engineer Vikas Chandra Bhuyan of Sadar Block in Cuttack district on charge of disproportionate assets.
Four places including Bhuyan’s house in Saubhagya Nagar of Bhubaneswar has been raided simultaneously by vigilance.
His father’s house at Lehenga village under Narsinghpur police station in Cuttack district, his relative’s house at Chakeisiani in Bhubaneswar and his office room at Sadar Block were raided by the agency.
Three DSPs, four inspectors and other staff are engaged in the raid.
In a separate case, the Vigilance team raided the house of Pradeep Kumar Chandrakar, a bank assistant working in Central Co-operative Bank of Komna branch of Nuapada district for accumulating unaccounted wealth.
