Cuttack: The Rural areas of Cuttack district are slowly turning into hotspots as the COVID-19 positive cases continue to rise with every passing day.

As per reports, the number of new cases dropped from 1000 cases in the last few days. Similarly, the rural areas turned into hotspots as the most numbers of COVID-19 positive cases were detected here.

Reportedly, the areas including, Banki and Badamba, continuing to rise in Covid positive cases.

On Wednesday as many as 448 positive cases detected in the city, 82 from institutional quarantine, 207 are from home quarantine 199 are local contacts.

A total of 25,335 covid positive cases have been reported from CMC, out of which,4,690 are active cases while 20,554 persons have been recovered and 91 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
