Political temperature spiked significantly both inside and outside the Odisha Legislative Assembly on the third day of the ongoing session, as Congress MLAs mounted a fiery protest against the state government over critical public issues.
Prior to the commencement of the day’s proceedings, key Congress legislators gathered inside the Assembly premises and sat on a dharna at the foot of the iconic Mahatma Gandhi statue. Holding placards and raising slogans against government policies, the lawmakers forcefully presented their charter of demands.
