Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow and grief following a tragic accident in Madhya Pradesh that claimed the lives of several Odia tourists.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.

Coordination for Repatriation
In his public statement, Chief Minister Majhi confirmed that he has issued directives to state officials to urgently establish contact and maintain continuous coordination with the Madhya Pradesh state government and the respective local administration.
The focus of the inter-state coordination is to expedite all required administrative, medical, and legal procedures so that the mortal remains of the deceased tourists can be brought back to Odisha smoothly and with due honour.
“I have directed officials to coordinate with the Madhya Pradesh Government and local administration to expedite all necessary procedures and ensure that the mortal remains are brought back to Odisha with due dignity,” CM Majhi stated.
