Angul: A tusker was found dead near Talagad under Bantala forest range in Angul district on Friday morning.
According to reports, the matter came to light after some locals spotted the carcass of the tusker this morning and informed the same to the forest officials.
The team of forest officials reached the spot and seized the carcass for post-mortem.
Forest officials suspect that the tusker might have got electrocuted after coming in contact with high voltage electric wire.
