Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday increased the fares of bus across all categories in the wake of an increase in the fuel prices.
As per reports, the fares of Ordinary and Express buses have been increased by 6 paisa/KM and 7 paisa/KM respectively. Besides, fare of Deluxe increased by 3 paisa/KM and fares of AC Deluxe buses increased by 8 paisa/KM due to increase in diesel price.
Following is the revised bus fares:-
- Ordinary Bus Fare increased from earlier rate of 74 paisa to 80 paisa per km.
- Express Fare increased from earlier rate of 77 paisa to 84 paisa per km.
- Deluxe Fare increased from earlier rate of 1.09 paisa to 1.11 paisa per km.
- Deluxe Fare increased from earlier rate of 1.31 paisa to 1.39 paisa per km.
