Nayagarh: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch on Saturday seized 260 gm of brown sugar during a raid at Ranpur area here. Besides, one person has also been arrested in connection with the cases.
As per reports, the accused, Prakash Chandra Behera of Baunsia village, was nabbed by a team of the STF while he was trying to strike a deal of the narcotics substance.
The officials have also seized a motor-cycle and other incriminating materials from the possession of the accused person.
A case has been registered at Ranpur PS under Section 21(c) of NDPS Act 1985 and the investigation is on.
