Kendrapara: A college girl fought back against two bike-borne miscreants who tried to snatch her gold earrings at Ostapur under Sadar police limits in Kendrapara district today.
The brave girl has been identified as Truptimayee Bal of Balarampur village.
Reportedly, the incident took place while Truptimayee was returning from her college. Meanwhile, two bike-borne miscreants waylaid her and attempted to snatch her earrings.
Though she confronted them and managed to save her earrings, the looters snatched her bag away before fleeing from the spot.
Later, Truptimayee lodged a complaint at the local police station, based on which, police initiated an investigation in this regard.
