Bhubaneswar: Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Prasanna Acharya, who had sustained critical injuries in a car accident, was discharged from a private hospital in Odisha capital.
He was undergoing treatment at the hospital for the last 17 days.
Acharya had suffered injuries after his car collided with a gas tanker near Beladihi in Rairakhol area of Sambalpur district on March 14 night. The collision between his car and the gas tanker occurred on NH-55 Sambalpur-Rairakhol road.
