In response to the prevailing flood situation across Odisha, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has issued an office order deputing senior party leaders to major flood‑affected districts to oversee relief and restoration measures.
According to the order signed by BJD President Naveen Patnaik, the following leaders have been assigned specific districts:
- Pradip Kumar Amat – Jajpur
- Arun Kumar Sahoo – Bhadrak
- Sanjay Kumar Das Burma – Baleshwar
The leaders will visit flood‑hit areas, interact with affected residents, and coordinate with district administrations and local BJD functionaries to ensure timely relief and restoration.
